If you knew that it was Jungle Trail, you know your Palm Beach history. By the way, Worth Avenue is the namesake of General William Jenkins Worth, whose name is also attached to our Lake Worth Lagoon and the local city of Lake Worth. Very name-Worth-y indeed!

Ultimuttly Purrfect Pets

Palm Beach does everything extravagantly - including its pets. The pets were on parade recently for the 27th Annual Pet Parade and Contest hosted on Worth Avenue. The event, faithfully managed by shop owner Sherry Frankel all these years, is courtesy of the Worth Avenue Association. The March 14 event saw many beloved family pets and their owners decked out in costumes as they pranced the catwalk in categories for small, medium and large pets. Spectators and their furry friends, many favoring St. Patty’s Day attire, turned out to cheer on the contestants.

Ho Ho Holiday Time in Palm Beach

We don’t need snow and 20 below to know when the magical holiday season is upon us. In Palm Beach, we welcome the season with festivities on Worth Avenue that signal the unofficial start of this special shopping season.

The December 3rd festivities start with a parade at 6:00 p.m., ushered in by jolly Old Saint Nick, along with his elves, entertainment and Town Mayor Gail Coniglio. The night culminates at exactly 6:29 p.m. with the lighting of a massive 40-foot Christmas tree.
