Crafted with Care

Wood serving board with ocean wave coating of resin

It’s that time of year! Amidst the hustle and bustle of shopping and preparing for the holidays, chances are that the holiday party invites are starting to pile up. Making sure that you have the perfect hostess gift is easy when you think local and artisan. Here are some great items, crafted with care by local artisanl companies, to have on hand this holiday season:

Aria Marli Art - Located in Boca Raton, artisan Karim Aboud creates waves (literally) with ocean-themed resin products like coasters, serving trays and platters, cutting boards and catch-all dishes. Visit her website or instagram to order.

Steel Tie Spirits - Father and son, Ben and Clint Etheridge, partner to distill small-batch spirits using all-natural, local ingredients. The distillery is located in West Palm Beach near Grandview Market. And we can vouch for their vodka! So smooth we barely knew we were drinking alcohol with that lemonade that ended up in our hand.

Castronovo Chocolate - This international award-winning craft chocolate maker is just up the road in Stuart. They take pride in sourcing their beans with attention to conscientious, ethical and sustainable farming as well as using special care in the treatment of the beans that become their delicacies. Guess what! We can vouch for their chocolate too! But you might want to grab their limited edition Rum Caramel Pralines before they’re gone.

Pascale’s - “The Delray Beach Jam Company” is another family-run company, using the freshest fruit and fine ingredients to blend their jams, chutneys and fruit syrups (AKA shrubs). Their 2-jar gift box of jams is the perfect hostess gift.

The most exciting thing about most of these gifts is the price! Many are under $25. We’d love to play hostess, especially if you bring us one of these crafted with care items.
